A few minutes ago, I made the most difficult phone call I have made, and may ever make, in my life: I called President-elect Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of the New Patriotic Party to congratulate him on his well-fought and well-deserved victory in Wednesday’s election.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The win has been emphatic. If anybody has reason to doubt the presidential results, the sheer magnitude of the defeat, which our parliamentary candidates have suffered, is the clearest indication that we have outlived our welcome.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Telling the world that I would graciously accept the outcome of the election was one thing, but confronting the stark reality of an electoral defeat is another harrowing experience altogether. But I had no option. The people of Ghana have said emphatically that they are taking away the power they gave to me four years ago, and I have no power to say no. Besides, I love the country that has given me the opportunity to serve in various capacities for nearly two decades and I will not do anything to undermine our democracy or threaten the peace we enjoy.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Before I continue, permit me to congratulate the NDC family, especially my campaign team, for putting up such a spirited fight. When I was growing up in northern Ghana, I used to hear stories of very spiritually powerful and dreadful cattle rustlers who informed cattle rearers before they actually moved in to steal the animals. They would tell the owner that “tonight, we will come and steal your cattle.” They were so powerful that they cast spells on those policing the cattle and drive away the animals away before the men who gathered to stop them could wake up from their deep sleep to gnash their teeth and endure the scornful gossips of their women in the morning.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">When the time was up for these cattle rustlers, however, they were overpowered and captured by women. I think we lost because our time was simply up, and no amount of deceptive campaign promises could keep us in power. No amount of monopolization of the media space could save us. No amount of money could stop our defeat. No amount of local and international celebrity endorsements could help us. And no amount of vote buying could stand the irresistible hurricane of change that shook our nation on Wednesday.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I will urge my party members to stop the “blamestorming” that has started so that we brainstorm on how to get ourselves out of the mess we have put ourselves in. The future of our great party looks gloomy and we have to start work on how to get ourselves out of what appears like an eternal stay in opposition. In life, when you are hit by the subduing blow of misfortune, you have two options. You can allow that blow to crush you. You can also move on with the enormous lessons such misfortunes often present. I cannot immediately tell my next move in life, politics and my role in our great party. But if I should ever make a comeback to politics, the lessons I have learnt from our defeat should serve as the moral code which will guide how I guide myself.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I have learnt that the Ghanaian voter, though mainly uneducated and simple, is more sophisticated than we thought. I have learnt that it is unacceptable for the people to loot, hoard and splash during elections.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I have learnt that the calls of the noisy minority cannot be ignored because they largely shape the opinions of the silent minority, who we politicians exploit for our selfish gain. I have learnt that not all those who criticised us hated us. Sometimes the best way to express your love for someone is to be critical of their actions. If I should ever return, I will not display a “dead-goat syndrome” towards disaffection of the masses.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">When those who opposed us cried foul, we retorted, “Hate can’t win.” Tonight, however, I am the first to admit that some hate can win. This election has taught me that the hate of corruption can win. It has taught me that hate of incompetence can win. Our defeat has taught me that hate of impunity can win. I have learnt that the hate of the obscene display of ill-gotten opulence wins. I have learnt that hate of mediocrity and deception definitely wins. And I have learnt that hating evil will forever triumph over the love of evil. That was what happened on Wednesday.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Another important lesson I have learnt from this defeat is that the success or failure of a leader depends on the kind of people he or she surrounds themselves with. While Rawlings appointed the likes of Dr. Mohammed Ibn Chambas as deputy ministers, I made the mistake of giving that respectable position to the likes of John Oti Bless. I have now realised, rather too late, that if I had kept the likes of Ben Dotsei Malor and Dr. Raymond Atuguba around me, they would have injected some semblance of sanity into the Presidency and given that high office an aura of respectability and decency. The praise-singing sycophants who act on the dictates of their stomachs are only specialized at telling you what you want to hear. Unfortunately, I did not listen to voices of reason. Our elders say a disease that will kill a man first breaks sticks into his ears.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">A lot of the people who have called me to comfort me have maintained that I have been let down by my ministers and the people I trusted so much. I wish to take the blame for everything that happened to me. It is said that a man may fail many times but he is not a failure until he blames others for his failures. Nobody forced my appointees on me. Our elders say God gives us our friends but we choose our friends. And it is us, and not God, who will bear the consequences of any choice we make. Like the wood insect that gathers sticks on its head, I have brought this upon myself, and I will carry it alone.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Fellow Ghanaians, before I end, I will like to wish our President-elect, Nana Akufo Addo, the best of luck in his administration. I will, however, like to caution him to be very careful in order not to repeat the mistakes I made in my administration. His success or failure depends on the kinds of people he appoints. He should focus on the people and not the party. He should remember that after four years, Ghanaians will be demanding accountability from him. He and the NPP should remember that the shea butter that is gloating over the ill-fated salt because of a heavy downpour should fortify itself with ice before the sun rises. What has befallen us can befall you if you allow the intoxicating effect of power to blind you.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">In 2008, the NDC won mainly because the NPP’s stronghold in Ashanti Region did not vote massively. In 2016, the NDC lost partly because our stronghold in the Volta Region taught us a lesson that we will never forget. We should begin to see them see human beings, and not votes, when we ever occupy any political office. In the NDC, Volta Region sounded like Voter Region. We referred to the Volta Region as our World Bank, but they turned out to be a DKM Microfinance when it mattered most.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Finally, I will urge civil society and the media to keep a critical eye on the new administration if our country can ever develop. I have realised that the corrupt journalists and members of the civil society who connived with officials of my administration to defraud the state or cover up rot did not only hurt the country but they are part of the reason I have to forever live with the humiliation of the first one-term president in the Fourth Republic. This is our country. And its fortunes lie solely on us. Let’s all stand up and be counted.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">God bless our Homeland Ghana and make our nation great and strong!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13233281472193489675noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1623394252304332964.post-1189000480845443832016-09-15T10:44:00.001+00:002016-12-27T06:17:11.692+00:00Why I Won't Vote Come Election 2016!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFI4fyCXxRCDkxtFFEwi4Dj1Vq3AzWkPVt0BURIb6BRDkjz06UhEJWELxgiOr1hKIB3kk3vsHsf5NtZGPnyJ4WJaQFqbtwKEUD9HKfnajIgbUutSl1VZ4HBP2MSWptzo3cnAUlj_dlqpNk/s1600/Dont-vote.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"> <img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFI4fyCXxRCDkxtFFEwi4Dj1Vq3AzWkPVt0BURIb6BRDkjz06UhEJWELxgiOr1hKIB3kk3vsHsf5NtZGPnyJ4WJaQFqbtwKEUD9HKfnajIgbUutSl1VZ4HBP2MSWptzo3cnAUlj_dlqpNk/s320/Dont-vote.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I won't vote, I have no political anti-establishment, I am not anarchist. Christened Malcolm Little</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">and later also known as el-Hajj</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Malik el-Shabazz, was an</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">African-American Muslim</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">minister and human rights activist. His</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">mother, Louise Norton Little, was a</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">homemaker occupied with the family’s</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">eight children. His father, Earl Little, was</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">an outspoken Baptist minister and avid</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">supporter of Black Nationalist leader Marcus Garvey. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Malcolm X was assassinated on February 21, 1965, At a speaking engagement in the</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Manhattan’s Audubon Ballroom three gunmen rushed</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Malcolm onstage. They shot him 15 times</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">at close range. The 39-year-old was</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">pronounced dead on arrival at New</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">York’s Columbia Presbyterian Hospital.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">On the 23 January, 1965 barely one month before he was assassinated, Malcolm read a mind blowing speech at the Michigan State University, East Lansing. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Malcolm described the difference between</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">the "house Negro" and the "field Negro."</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">"So you have two types of Negro. The old type and</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">the new type. Most of you know the old type. When</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">you read about him in history during slavery he</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">was called "Uncle Tom." He was the house Negro.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">And during slavery you had two Negroes. You had</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">the house Negro and the field Negro.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The house Negro usually lived close to his master.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">He dressed like his master. He wore his master's</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">second-hand clothes. He ate food that his master</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">left on the table. And he lived in his master's</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">house--probably in the basement or the attic--but</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">he still lived in the master's house.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">So whenever that house Negro identified himself,</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">he always identified himself in the same sense that</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">his master identified himself. When his master</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">said, "We have good food," the house Negro would</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">say, "Yes, we have plenty of good food." "We" have</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">plenty of good food. When the master said that "we</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">have a fine home here," the house Negro said,</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">"Yes, we have a fine home here." When the master</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">would be sick, the house Negro identified himself</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">so much with his master he'd say, "What's the</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">matter boss, we sick?" His master's pain was his</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">pain. And it hurt him more for his master to be</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">sick than for him to be sick himself. When the</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">house started burning down, that type of Negro</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">would fight harder to put the master's house out</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">than the master himself would.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">But then you had another Negro out in the field.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The house Negro was in the minority. The</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">masses--the field Negroes were the masses. They</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">were in the majority. When the master got sick,</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">they prayed that he'd die. [Laughter] If his house</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">caught on fire, they'd pray for a wind to come</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">along and fan the breeze.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">If someone came to the house Negro and said,</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">"Let's go, let's separate," naturally that Uncle Tom</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">would say, "Go where? What could I do without</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">boss? Where would I live? How would I dress?</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Who would look out for me?" That's the house</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Negro. But if you went to the field Negro and said,</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">"Let's go, let's separate," he wouldn't even ask</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">you where or how. He'd say, "Yes, let's go." And</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">that one ended right there.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">So now you have a twentieth-century-type of</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">house Negro. A twentieth-century Uncle Tom. He's</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">just as much an Uncle Tom today as Uncle Tom</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">was 100 and 200 years ago. Only he's a modern</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Uncle Tom. That Uncle Tom wore a handkerchief</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">around his head. This Uncle Tom wears a top hat.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">He's sharp. He dresses just like you do. He speaks</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">the same phraseology, the same language. He tries</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">to speak it better than you do. He speaks with the</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">same accents, same diction. And when you say,</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">"your army," he says, "our army." He hasn't got</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">anybody to defend him, but anytime you say "we"</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">he says "we." "Our president," "our government,"</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">"our Senate," "our congressmen," "our this and</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">our that." And he hasn't even got a seat in that</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">"our" even at the end of the line. So this is the</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">twentieth-century Negro. Whenever you say "you,"</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">the personal pronoun in the singular or in the</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">plural, he uses it right along with you. When you</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">say you're in trouble, he says, "Yes, we're in</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">trouble."</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">But there's another kind of Black man on the</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">scene. If you say you're in trouble, he says, "Yes,</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">you're in trouble." [Laughter] He doesn't identify</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">himself with your plight whatsoever"</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Fair enough Malcolm's time was in the 20 century and here we are in the 21st century still acting as such, behaving like the field negroes Aren't we one blood for God sake? </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The whites are fighting us and now ourselves. Issues of national interest are now attend to with political spectacles. Is about that time we change. I thought we are blocs. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Our speeches need to be edited the 'I' must be 'we' 'mine' should be 'ours', we one country, different culture, same people one blood. Ghana at heart must be our priority not political views. The mere fact that Party A, is in power doesn't mean Party A should enjoy and party B suffering from hardship</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Long live mother Ghana</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Love live true patriot</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13233281472193489675noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1623394252304332964.post-86201573092710471212016-06-24T06:10:00.001+00:002016-06-24T06:21:31.665+00:00UK vote to leave EU in a referendum !<p dir="ltr">The UK has voted to leave the European Union<br>
after 43 years in a historic referendum.<br>
Leave won by 52% to 48% with England and Wales<br>
voting strongly for Brexit, while London, Scotland<br>
and Northern Ireland backed staying in the EU.<br>
UKIP leader Nigel Farage hailed it as the UK's<br>
"independence day" but the Remain camp called it<br>
a "catastrophe".<br>
The pound fell to its lowest level against the dollar<br>
since 1985 as the markets reacted to the results.</p>
<p dir="ltr">The referendum turnout was 71.8% - with more<br>
than 30 million people voting - the highest turnout<br>
at a UK election since 1992.<br>
Wales and the majority of England outside London<br>
voted in large numbers for Brexit.<br>
Labour's Shadow chancellor John McDonnell said<br>
the Bank of England may have to intervene to<br>
shore up the pound, which lost 3% within<br>
moments of the first result showing a strong result<br>
for Leave in Sunderland and fell as much as 6.5%<br>
against the euro.<br>
'Independence day'<br>
UKIP leader Nigel Farage - who has campaigned<br>
for the past 20 years for Britain to leave the EU -<br>
told cheering supporters "this will be a victory for<br>
ordinary people, for decent people".<br>
Mr Farage - who predicted a Remain win at the<br>
start of the night after polls suggested that would<br>
happen - said Thursday 23 June would "go down<br>
in history as our independence day".<br>
He called on Prime Minister David Cameron, who<br>
called the referendum but campaigned<br>
passionately for a Remain vote, to quit<br>
"immediately".<br>
A Labour source said: "If we vote to leave,<br>
Cameron should seriously consider his position."<br>
But pro-Leave Conservatives including Boris<br>
Johnson and Michael Gove have signed a letter to<br>
Mr Cameron urging him to stay on whatever the<br>
result.<br>
Labour former Europe Minister Keith Vaz told the<br>
BBC the British people had voted with their<br>
"emotions" and rejected the advice of experts who<br>
had warned about the economic impact of leaving<br>
the EU.<br>
He said the EU should call an emergency summit<br>
to deal with the aftermath of the vote, which he<br>
described as "catastrophic for our country, for the<br>
rest of Europe and for the rest of the world".<br>
Germany's foreign minister Frank Walter<br>
Steinmeier describes the referendum result as as<br>
"a sad day for Europe and Great Britain".<br>
But Leave supporting Tory MP Liam Fox said<br>
voters had shown great "courage" by deciding to<br>
"change the course of history" for the UK and, he<br>
hoped, the rest of Europe.<br>
And he called for a "period of calm, a period of<br>
reflection, to let it all sink in and to work through<br>
what the actual technicalities are," insisting that Mr<br>
Cameron must stay on as PM.<br>
Exit process<br>
Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has said<br>
that the EU vote "makes clear that the people of<br>
Scotland see their future as part of the European<br>
Union" after all 32 local authority areas returned<br>
majorities for Remain.<br>
Analysis by Prof John Curtice<br>
London has voted to stay in the EU by around 60%<br>
to 40%.<br>
However, no other region of England has voted in<br>
favour of remaining.<br>
The referendum has underlined the social and<br>
cultural gap between London and provincial<br>
England.<br>
Remain's defeat seems to have been primarily the<br>
product of the decisions made by voters living<br>
north of the M4.<br>
Throughout the Midlands and the North of England<br>
the level of support for Remain was well below<br>
what was required for it to win at least 50% of the<br>
vote across the UK as a whole.<br>
Britain would be the first country to leave the EU<br>
since its formation - but a leave vote will not<br>
immediately mean Britain ceases to be a member<br>
of the 28-nation bloc.<br>
That process could take a minimum of two years,<br>
with Leave campaigners suggesting during the<br>
referendum campaign that it should not be<br>
completed until 2020 - the date of the next<br>
scheduled general election.<br>
The prime minister will have to decide when to<br>
trigger Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty, which would<br>
give the UK two years to negotiate its withdrawal.<br>
Once Article 50 has been triggered a country can<br>
not rejoin without the consent of all member<br>
states.<br>
Mr Cameron has previously said he would trigger<br>
Article 50 as soon as possible after a leave vote<br>
but Boris Johnson and Michael Gove who led the<br>
campaign to get Britain out of the EU have said he<br>
should not rush into it.<br>
But they also said they want to make immediate<br>
changes before the UK actually leaves the EU, such<br>
as curbing the power of EU judges and limiting the<br>
free movement of workers, potentially in breach the<br>
UK's treaty obligations.<br>
The government will also have to negotiate its<br>
future trading relationship with the EU and fix trade<br>
deals with non-EU countries.<br>
In Whitehall and Westminster, there will now begin<br>
the massive task of unstitching the UK from more<br>
than 40 years of EU law, deciding which directives<br>
and regulations to keep, amend or ditch.<br>
The Leave campaign argued during a bitter four-<br>
month referendum campaign that the only way<br>
Britain could "take back control" of its own affairs<br>
would be to leave the EU.<br>
Leave dismissed warnings from economists and<br>
international bodies about the economic impact of<br>
Brexit as "scaremongering" by a self-serving elite</p>

This piece came to my mail from a friend I have no idea who the author is though but want to share with you</p>
<p dir="ltr">I could not keep it to myself anymore. I drove all the way to Dad's office and confessed to him I was in love with a young lady. </p>
<p dir="ltr">He asked for her name and description. He kept smiling. We prayed together and trusted God for His leading. Dad did not say a word. </p>
<p dir="ltr">Two days after my wife said "Yes" to my proposal, I told both dad and mum as a birthday gift for him. </p>
<p dir="ltr">Mum smiled and said, "Months earlier when your father went to preach in the Corpers Fellowship, he saw her and the Holy Spirit told him, "Isn't she the wife of your son?"I was the only unmarried son. He kept his fingers crossed till I told him. Yet he did not utter a word but he knew already.</p>
<p dir="ltr">I want to talk to men: You MUST be the priest of your home. Nothing must happen without your knowing. If your wife is the one waking you up for family devotion and setting the pace, something is wrong with you! </p>
<p dir="ltr">You must have charted the course of your children in prayer. Call them by name in prayer and prophecy over them. Bless your wife daily. Lay hands on her before you step out. </p>
<p dir="ltr">What makes a man is far beyond finance and romance- you must be a man of prayer! Nothing must happen in your home until you permit it (not by stubborn conducts but prayers). </p>
<p dir="ltr">Brother, if you are unmarried now and you are not learning to pray, you are living like a spiritual gambler saying "what will be will be"; you better wake up, smell the coffee. Stop sleeping like a log of wood. Wake up at night. Blast in tongues by the Spirit. Take on the Word and confess it. Do not leave your future home to chance. Marriage is not a ludo game. </p>
<p dir="ltr">Fathers and fathers to be, take your place. Build finance. Learn Romance but Exercise your Spirit and take your place. <br>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZD9WKyHjpMtfXks4PlKoLz9gRnDXLCnn3ZC24cuyyW-aIXe8ewnZFzSVZ9H-YGkdaHkGX2oo1w6mnGYofki-LdO2yLeHD46qoGh1G26sJaOwHTkyKQoPE8KG16fwWpTHa4YseWs8R1QGi/s1600/Writing.jpg" imageanchor="1" ><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZD9WKyHjpMtfXks4PlKoLz9gRnDXLCnn3ZC24cuyyW-aIXe8ewnZFzSVZ9H-YGkdaHkGX2oo1w6mnGYofki-LdO2yLeHD46qoGh1G26sJaOwHTkyKQoPE8KG16fwWpTHa4YseWs8R1QGi/s320/Writing.jpg" /></a><br />
Dear future wife,  </p><p dir="ltr">I cannot wait for that day - that frabjous day to say 'I do'  but before then, here is the real me you need to know. You may know me from a distance or in person but trust me you know nothing about me as the saying goes "People only sees what you allow them to know and see" No female friend knows of what am about to tell you.<br><br />
Hmmm! It's quite a long miscellaneous but let me starting moving. I am maverick. I'm among the few guys who sees only the good side of everything. I don't value material things neither do I treasure them. I'm very controversial and defend every side I take, been it good or evil. I once remember during my late teenage I visited a friend who stays 30 minutes drive from where I reside. We spent time happily together since it been a while we heard from each other. We tete-a-tete, playing video games to discussing trending issues for almost three (3) hours before I realized everywhere was dark. I hurriedly told my friend (David) Man : I wan go huz  <br><br />
He replied : Charlie don't mk dull just now?<br><br />
<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIXMIfWxytL56DxO7RvPetH-P6DXaBopVc2j4_J9TTRLQfHovuvUm-dmB42_VmFWBgP8o2K2B8nuHv56shykc2QoRJq3J_GtQrTJIOpS0q-Z2iTzzlGr3pzAPf3qWBOw8oH-KQBuFcX9NO/s1600/1734706-bigthumbnail.jpg" imageanchor="1" ><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIXMIfWxytL56DxO7RvPetH-P6DXaBopVc2j4_J9TTRLQfHovuvUm-dmB42_VmFWBgP8o2K2B8nuHv56shykc2QoRJq3J_GtQrTJIOpS0q-Z2iTzzlGr3pzAPf3qWBOw8oH-KQBuFcX9NO/s320/1734706-bigthumbnail.jpg" /></a><br />
I rushed and picked my bag and oya I left. God so good I got a cab upon reaching the near by junction. I stopped the car and sat in panting seriously because I knew my mom would be very worried. Half journey on the road I picked my wallet and paid the driver fifteen (15) minutes later I was at my destination. I alighted and went home only to see my mom worried just like I thought, I greeted and head toward my room. Feeling tired I relaxed on my bed for about ten (10) minutes, I waked up and started off loading the items in my bag only to find out I have lost Ghs50 I moved to the hall to check if I could find it on the study table but to no avail. I called my friend (David)  on phone and asked if I left the money at his side. But he said at the other end of the phone naa. Not knowing all this while whiles  i was searching for the money my Mom was sitting comfortably watching a Philippines soap opera 'Her mother's daughter'. She muttered <b>Hollandsworth,<b></b></b> have you lost something ? I replied yes. <br><br />
she asked what  have I  lost I replied, my money.<br><br />
she asked again what is the exact amount? I remember I kindly replied, Mom if I tell you the amount, you would end up worried and insult me saying I am careless and after all, you can't do anything about the past  I have life and can earn more. The only word my mom  gasped was I knew you wouldn't definitely tell me. Babe, l don't worry over what can do nothing about. Learn from my mom how she responded. Same may happen. That is who I am<br><br />
I am self motivated type of person. Despite all the stress I pull for being controversial I carry on my duties as I want to. Once upon a time I wrote an article about one of Ghana's celebrity. In the article I expressed myself how I see the personality without being bias. An hour later my inbox started flooding with insults, curses name them. I nearly lose focused. But I encouraged myself saying 'this is the work I do' and threatening and insults are some of the risks involved. One basic principle I always live with  is 'the power of the mind' (thinking manipulating the mind to get an answer)  I am not moved by what I see or hear. It's all centered on me pursuing life how I want it to be. I hardly understand how hurt one becomes because of how he thinks.</p><p dir="ltr">Not too friendly, shy a bit jealous. I am phlegmatic by temperament too inward and private but a bit melancholic. I hardly make new friends but keep the little I make. My name can never to left out through all the schools I attended when listing shy guys. I recall a certain girl (Josephine) would always ask, Ralph are you that shy? I always replies No, but hiding my face. Lol. This same instance happened early this year. My junior brother and I met a female friend. We conversed for about thirty (30) minutes. Later that day I was checking my WhatsApp messages and saw a message from the girl we meet. The message reads "Ralph are you that shy ? I texted back No am not shy just that I speak I don't talk (I have been asked hundreds time and I always give the same answer).<br><br />
I am one kind of person who loves so much with passion and does the vice versa. If you are lucky  I choose you. Is you I love and nobody else. I am jealous just like God told the Israelite in the Biblical days. I am not selfish I believe you need to reciprocate what I does.</p><p dir="ltr">Man after my words.<br><br />
Beauty, if I promise I fulfill, no matter what it takes to fulfill as far as I said, i go by my promise. Just as King Herod who promised  with an oath Herodias daughter after she has danced to entertain his guest at his birthday party to give her whatever she ask, and when the little girl asked for John the Baptist head, he ordered to his execution to beheaded John the Baptist. As the King obeyed is an epitome of me. My yes means, YES, my no means, No.</p><p dir="ltr">  I am Catholic than the Pope himself I was born into a Christian family precisely Assemblies Of God Family. My Dad a Pastor. So imagine the life I live. I believe strongly that Jesus Christ is the son of God and our Saviour. I have adopted the Grace teachings as my life (you know the name and claim, once saved forever saved stuffs) <br><br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAMI-orAv3us3wykI6vAyrexdac2TPgTzv2C2TeLsFYdlCZNFle6HlHN_p4Q-tHbdSBW0Fx5w__Js0tXmX5ltdQ1vrgGA4uH2zePybvTbwKD2-YFoFQLEq6KU_D9SSpiwcMtcfxCumogBg/s1600/vacation-couple-walking-beach-28445928.jpg" imageanchor="1" ><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAMI-orAv3us3wykI6vAyrexdac2TPgTzv2C2TeLsFYdlCZNFle6HlHN_p4Q-tHbdSBW0Fx5w__Js0tXmX5ltdQ1vrgGA4uH2zePybvTbwKD2-YFoFQLEq6KU_D9SSpiwcMtcfxCumogBg/s320/vacation-couple-walking-beach-28445928.jpg" /></a><br />
Hate comparison likes who l am and who you are. There is this story I read a year ago about how two lovers broke up due to how the lady wanted to be treated just like her friend's lover and lack of effective communication. Appreciation they say is the ladder to greatness. I like whatever I do and what you will do. This saying which always get me laughing 'love me, like my dog'</p><p dir="ltr">I don't work for money. I enjoy almost 99.9% what I do. Not for the monies, fame or girls. Because I want do it. From publishing inspirational messages to daily news writing. A man within the ages of 35 - 40 years asked me one day where did you learn how to do all what you does ? I don't understand how a young guy like you knows most things. I smiled and replied, I sleep late in the night  most times 1:00am  and wake up early as 4:00am and I always learn.<br><br />
Sweetheart, I give away freely I am an open source advocate<br><br />
Regarding the food I like. Ermm! There is this worldly saying the way to a man's heart is through food that doesn't apply to me.<br><br />
Among all the dishes prepared and served in Ghana I eat few of them. I only eat one food we get from Maize. I was told I use to eat but got to a time I fall ill whenever I eat so they stop feeding me with such foods. For two decade now rice is in the menu of my everyday food. </p><p dir="ltr">Beauty, Queen,  my princess I hope you have today known what you never knew about me. And we gonna be happy together in the near future.</p><p dir="ltr">From your lover,<br><br />

or forfeit your synced photos<p dir="ltr">Facebook users with a synced photo album are<br>
receiving an email from the social network that<br>
says they’ll have to install and log in to the<br>
company’s Moments app by July 7, or else have<br>
all their photos inside that album deleted.<br>
The app, released last year, allows for private<br>
uploads of photos for sharing with friends without<br>
actually putting them onto the social network.<br>
Before Moments, Facebook put into its main app a<br>
similar feature called Photo Sync, back in 2012,<br>
which, when turned on, automatically uploaded<br>
photos from a smartphone into a private “Synced<br>
from phone” album.<br>
That album will be going away after July 7,<br>
making Moments the way Facebook wants its<br>
users to automatically upload photos privately.<br>
Rather not deal with Moments? There’s another<br>
option for rescuing your synched photos, says<br>
Facebook.<br>
If you “don’t want to download Moments, [you]<br>
will also be able to download a zip file of your<br>
synced photos from your Facebook profile on your<br>
computer before July 7th,” the company said in<br>
an emailed statement.<br>
Techcrunch reported the July deadline earlier</p>

I received this message, a wonderful piece this morning from a female friend and want to share with you. Kindly read, it got me thinking the youngsters of today. </p>
<p dir="ltr">Welcome to Ghanaian campuses where little girls<br>
are practising 'wifely functions'! Just visit the boys'<br>
hostels and you would be disappointed to find out<br>
that it is now common for a girl to live in with a<br>
course mate. It is now common for her lover to<br>
give her the popular compliment 'you look sexy<br>
my gal' and she would gladly reply 'thank you<br>
honey' with a flirty voice and a romantic smile.<br>
Who is her lover? A 300 level student whose CGPA<br>
is barely up to 1.78! And they are aiming for the<br>
next best couple award for the session by the<br>
departmental association. So, the girl need to live<br>
in with him to prepare along.<br>
What nonsense! It seems that some girls suddenly<br>
loose their senses immediately they gain<br>
admission. I've seen that some of them have no<br>
more sense of caution, honour and dignity. They<br>
would change their wardrobes and acquire a new<br>
set of make ups just to look 'campussy' and sexy<br>
enough for the guys. In months, they would start<br>
sleeping around with little boys. I mean boys who<br>
collect pocket money from their uncles! Dirty boys<br>
who most of the time are infected with sexually<br>
transmitted diseases.<br>
Hey! I want you to know that you were sent to<br>
school to obtain a degree not a disease. The<br>
campus is called a school; school not sex! You<br>
are on campus to receive education not<br>
ejaculation. You are here to master the use of a<br>
pen not the pleasures of a penis. Wake up girl! Do<br>
some thinking. Your future is greater than the 'best<br>
couple award'.<br>
You cook for a boy you are more intelligent than.<br>
You give your virginity to a boy who will definitely<br>
leave you after graduation. You play wife to a boy<br>
who cannot even care for himself. Oh, you have<br>
given too much. Enough! Open your eyes! Can't<br>
you see you're being foolish? You are passing<br>
through the fears of unwanted pregnancies yet you<br>
are opening your legs to a coward who cannot<br>
stand before your father. And when you eventually<br>
gets pregnant, he would brutally advise you to<br>
abort it and you would timidly agree; then face the<br>
consequences later. What a shame!<br>
You may master the use of condoms but you can't<br>
master the punishment of your conscience.<br>
Don't you know you are bringing shame to your<br>
family? Don't you know that you are cursing your<br>
mother by accepting to sleep with a boy (not even<br>
a man) without her consent? I cautioned a girl<br>
against sleeping around and she replied 'Sheddy, I<br>
don't sleep around; its only one boyfriend I have<br>
and am faithful to him'. What impunity! That's<br>
classified harlotry. And don't you know that<br>
sleeping with a man without your father's<br>
blessings is bringing a curse to your future? What<br>
happened to your cultural values? Somewhere in<br>
your heart you know he would use you and dump<br>
you; so why are you setting up yourself for a<br>
heartbreak? I want to remind you that you are a<br>
lady and one day you may get married. And your<br>
husband would know that you are such a dirty<br>
bitch who sleeps with anything in trousers. The<br>
greatest gift a lady would give to her husband on<br>
the wedding night is her virginity less lost it out of<br>
(rape) not the certificate of best couple of the year<br>
on campus! The other gifts for the rest of her life<br>
are her care and character not her curves and<br>
complexion! Real men know this; so, get it<br>
screwed in!<br>
Those treacherous boys would call you 'sexy' and<br>
you would answer? Oh, sorry! They touch your<br>
breast and you would smile? They would ask you<br>
out and you would oblige? Oh, you are indeed a<br>
mistake. Am not saying that you should be rude or<br>
never live a 'social life' but I want you to think<br>
deeper than you are currently doing. I want to turn<br>
your attention back to your books.<br>
You are not in school for breast exhibition. So, pay<br>
less attention to those boobs and give more<br>
attention to your books!<br>
You are not in school for cat walking show.<br>
You are rather here to show us the dignity of<br>
womanhood.<br>
You are here to prove to us that you are costly.<br>
So, why make yourself so cheap?<br>
I am writing this with both love and pain in my<br>
heart and that's why am sounding stern. I know<br>
about two girls now that have been living with<br>
their boyfriend since year one and as it is now<br>
they can't even even count how many abortions<br>
they had for that same boy sch bae it's now like a<br>
normal thing to them, the last one she did almost<br>
took her life and that made her bleed for 4months<br>
imagine how you do feel with ordinary 4 dayz of<br>
menstruation left alone living with it for months..<br>
As a matter of fact one of them have damaged her<br>
fallopian tube due to excessive of contraceptives<br>
she has taken to prevent pregnancy. I want you to<br>
look beyond now and think of what advise you<br>
would give your own daughter when you become a<br>
mother. I hope I have not offended you...if I have,<br>
please repent.<br>
To the decent girls I have seen on campus: do not<br>
be swayed by these evil. Be consistent and keep<br>
celebrating your purity. I am always proud of you.<br>
And God is more proud of you. Please share this<br>
message with all your friends on this campus and<br>
let's restore some dignity.</p>

It continued to advice musician/songwriters to abstain from writing songs with profane lyrics.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Read the statement below<br>
The Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) has<br>
noted with concern, the rising incidence of<br>
profane lyrics in songs released by Ghanaian<br>
musicians.<br>
This current trend is particularly disturbing<br>
considering the fact that these songs are played<br>
without any radio edits on primetime radio and<br>
given wide currency on social media.<br>
In that regard, the Union is calling on musicians<br>
and songwriters in Ghana to desist from writing<br>
songs with profane lyrics. As much as the Union<br>
appreciates the creative liberties of songwriters to<br>
freely express themselves, it is essential that<br>
artistes appreciate the impact of their songs on<br>
the public especially in an era where technology<br>
has made it relatively easier for songs to be<br>
heard.<br>
MUSIGA is, therefore, urging all musicians to be<br>
mindful of the need to provide inspiring and<br>
positive lyrics in our songs. In the same breadth,<br>
we are also calling on radio and television station<br>
operators to be mindful of their role as<br>
gatekeepers of society and be circumspect in<br>
what they play on air. We are also calling on the<br>
National Media Commission to throw their<br>
spotlight on the content of music played on air<br>
not only on the political content of programmes.<br>
As the nation prepares for elections in November,<br>
we of the Musicians Union of Ghana would like to<br>
urge all Ghanaians to be vigilant in ensuring that<br>
the elections are peaceful and credible.<br>
Signed:<br>
Bice Osei Kuffour<br>

GHANA POLICE SERVICE CONSIDERING BLOCKING SOCIAL MEDIA ON ELECTION DAY<p dir="ltr"><br></p>
<p dir="ltr">The Inspector General of Police (IGP) John<br>
Kudalor has announced the Ghana Police Service<br>
is considering blocking social media across the<br>
country on election day.<br>
He is concerned that social media could be used<br>
as a tool for misinformation thus posing a danger<br>
to the nation’s security during the polls.<br>
"At one stage I was even saying that if it<br>
becomes critical on the eve and the election day<br>
we shall block all social media as other countries<br>
have done. So we are thinking about it," John<br>
Kudalor said at a media interaction in Accra,<br>

In a later interview with Joy News, he said “If<br>
people are churning out the type of information<br>
which are quite false then why not? The security<br>
of this nation is paramount.”<br>
According to him, blacking out Facebook, Twitter<br>
and other media platforms is one of the several<br>
options under discussion.<br>
The black-out, he said, would be less than 24<br>
hours, from 7am to 5pm, which are the voting<br>
hours in Ghana.<br>
The IGP said Ghana can learn from examples in<br>
other African countries which limited the use of<br>
social media on election day.<br>
Uganda, in a surprise move, shut down social<br>
media on election day February 19, 2016. Voters<br>
woke up to realize their to access social media<br>
platforms has been cut.<br>
Ugandan President, Yoweri Museveni defended<br>
the ban as a "security measure to avert lies ...<br>
intended to incite violence and illegal declaration<br>
of election results."<br>
Several countries have interfered with or banned<br>
access to the social networking website<br>
Facebook, including Bangladesh , China , Iran ,<br>
North Korea and Syria although the bans were<br>
not related to elections.<br>
The impact of social media on elections has<br>
become a fascinating subject for research among<br>
social scientist. One study published in 2012<br>
found that Facebook feeds have a significant<br>
impact on voting patterns.<br>
In the US, political analysts have observed that<br>
social media could decide who wins the<br>
presidential elections in November.</p>

The list of Ghana’s top 50 celebrities with the highest following on social media has been released with actor John Dumelo at the top. That makes him the most popular Ghanaian entertainment icon on social media.
With over 1.2million total number of weighted total of fans and followers on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, Dumelo stood head and shoulders above all other Ghanaian entertainment people with accounts on any or all three social media platforms.
John Dumelo also led the pack in terms of raw or unweighted total with 4,249,830.00 across the three aforementioned social media platforms. Although he was not the leader in terms of most followed on Twitter and Instagram, his total haul of 3,290,531.00 of fans on Facebook contributed to pushing him to the top of the list.
The compilation, which was done by Francis Doku, a columnist in the Graphic Showbiz and a marketing communications practitioner, was to determine which Ghanaian entertainers especially musicians, actors, comedians, radio and TV presenters had the most following on Twitter and Instagram as well as the most fans on Facebook together. It was also done to determine which of them had the largest following on each of the three platforms in 2015.
John Dumelo and Christabel Ekeh_optIn order to remove any bias or advantage on specific platforms where individuals were stronger than others, weights were applied to each of the platforms as follows: Twitter 40%, Facebook 35% and Instagram 25%. The weights were applied according to the functional roles of each platform.
Whereas Twitter provides adequate room for interactivity, Facebook makes it possible for engagement in the form of likes, shares and comments, while Instagram enables sharing photos and short videos for aesthetic appeal.
The other nine celebrities who made it to the top ten on the weighted total hierarchy were Yvonne Nelson (1,188,062.75), Jackie Appiah (716,731.40), Sarkodie (660,092.55), Herty Bongreat (483,399.55), Funny Face (466,961.80), Asamoah Gyan (353,352.65), Stonebowy (312,300.05), Ama K. Abebrese (260,691.05) and Samini (253,866.80).
Yvonne Nelson
Yvonne Nelson
Following Dumelo as the next most popular Ghanaian entertainer on social media as of December 26, 2015 was actress Yvonne Nelson, both for unweighted and weighted total. In the weighted total, Nelson had 1,188,062.75 and in the unweighted total she had 2,389,421.00 across the different social media platforms of Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
The actress and film producer overwhelmingly beat everyone with a total of 982,245.00 followers to emerge as the Ghanaian celebrity with the most following on Instagram. She was second on Twitter and Facebook with a total of 564,188.00 followers and 2,389,421.00 fans respectively.
In a list that is dominated by actors and actresses, popular actress Jackie Appiah emerged as the third most popular Ghanaian on social media. Although she had a very negligible number of followers on Twitter, her impressive number of fans on Facebook and followers on Instagram shot her to the number three position.
With a total number of 1,761,883.00 fans on Facebook, Jackie Appiah is the third most popular Ghanaian celebrity on that platform after Dumelo and Nelson. Also, with a total of 752,178.00 she is the third most followed Ghanaian celebrity on Instagram after Nelson and Dumelo in that order.
Making it to the number four position on both unweighted and weighted total behind Jackie Appiah is multiple award winning rapper, Sarkodie. He is the most followed Ghanaian entertainment icon on Twitter with a total of 692,988.00 followers.
Although he was the most followed celebrity on Twitter, his respective fifth position with 489,459.00 followers on Instagram and sixth position with 868,442.00 fans on Facebook contributed to pushing him to the fourth position on the list.
One big surprise in the top ten is gospel artiste Herty Bongreat, though she had very negligible number of 305 followers on Instagram (the same number as Jackie Appiah had on Twitter) and also did not have a big number of followers on Twitter (3,104), her total haul of 1,606,939.00 fans on Facebook contributed to making her the fourth most popular Ghanaian on that platform and the fifth on the total list.
Funny Face is the sixth most popular Ghanaian entertainer on social media on the weighted total hierarchy. He attained this enviable position because he is very popular across all three platforms, but most especially on Facebook where his total haul of 922,022.00 fans placed him behind Bongreat and ahead of Sarkodie as the fifth most popular on Facebook.
He also attained the same position on Twitter where his total number of followers of 332,793.00 placed him directly behind Efya and ahead of Reggie Rockstone.
Footballer and singer Asamoah Gyan, showed very strongly on Twitter and Facebook and also not badly on Instagram propelling him to occupy the seventh position on the list of the most popular Ghanaian entertainers for 2015.
Artiste of the Year at the 2015 Ghana Music Awards and recipient of BET’s Best International Act, Africa as well as winner of Reggae, Ragga and Dancehall Artiste of the Year at the 2015 AFRIMA, among others, Stonebowy occupied the eighth position ahead of Ama K. Abebrese at number nine and Samini at number 10 respectively.
Stonebowy had very strong numbers on Facebook where with a total number of fans of 578,213.00 he was directly behind Sarkodie and ahead of actor Majid Michel at number seventh position on that platform.
Both Ama K. and Samini who occupy the ninth and tenth positions respective were very strong on all three platforms, but especially Facebook and Twitter.

It is always said that there is no smoke with a fire, and every old man was once a child. The blindly copying of western cultures by many Africa countries has brought them to where they are:
Ghana an epitome of such blind copying has reached a no return stage, and left with trying all alternative ways to succeed.
A perfect example of a good western culture I would like Ghana to adopt is the US Thanksgiving. The United State of America Thanksgiving is a holiday since 1863 after a federal holiday crops were gathered in November 1823 Governor William Bradford of the 1620 pilgrim colony ‘Plymouth Plantation’ Massachusetts proclaimed. On 1 November 1777 ny order of Congress the first National Thanksgiving proclamation was proclaimed and signed by Henry Laurens president of Continental Congress. The third Thursday of December 1777 was thus officially set aside.
Then again January 1, 1795, the 1st president of U.S George Washington, wrote his famed National Thanksgiving proclamation, in which he says that it is……
<i><blockquote><b>“Our duty as a people, with devout reverence and affectionate gratitude, to acknowledge our many and great obligations to Almighty God, and to implore Him to continue and confirm his blessings we experienced.</b>”
And was signed on 19th February 1795 and set aside by George Washington as national Thanksgiving Day.
Abraham Lincoln by Act of Congress proclaimed an annual National Day of Thanksgiving “On the last Thursday of November as a day of thanksgiving and praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the heavens” In this Thanksgiving proclamation, the 16th president says that it is…<i></blockquote></i>
<b><blockquote> “…announced in the Holy scriptures and proven in all history, that those nations are blessed whose God is the Lord…But we have forgotten the gracious hand which preserved us in peace and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us, and we have vainly imagined, by the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own…It has seemed to me fit and proper that God should be solemnly, reverently and gratefully acknowledged, as with one heart and one voice by the whole America people…”</blockquote></b></i> .
It is quiet wonderful and great United State of America is excelling in all their endeavors and most people around the world see America as a source of relief and a good place to relax for holiday, It is known worldly as ‘Heaven on Earth’ During Abraham Lincoln regime he gave a speech saying that those nations are blessed whose name is the Lord. Ghana is facing a lot of challenges which the opposition New Patriotic Party can help me mention is alphabetically, the Dumsor, NHIS, School feeding keep mentioning. Most of the time Is use to discuss minor cases of disagreement.
For once let adopt a method, let get back to our maker and a set a day aside like the 6th March, like Founder’s day and give thanks to the almighty Lord great things He has done for us.

Rain!! go away go and come another day…..Herr early days in school was super fun as young children we taught life was eat, play and sleep. As the waves of adulthood blows there we got to know how unpredictable life is. Cracking of jokes and teasing each other was a normal activity played among friends.
There has been survival things my colleagues’ and I used to entertain ourselves some include hide and seek, computer games, brain teasers, ghost riders, and occasionally pulling of pranks and many others. There was this pranks which always got us into trouble and here I introduce the piece you just started reading ‘The April Fool Prank!’. April Fool Day is a day known widely as all fool’s day or a foolish day its origins are uncertain. Some see it as a celebration related to the turn of the seasons while others believe it stems from the adoption of a new calendar New Year’s Day Moves Ancient cultures, including those of the Romans and Hindus, celebrated New Year’s Day on or around the vernal equinox (March 2006 or March 21st) in medieval times, much of Europe celebrated March 25, the Feast of Annunciation, as the beginning of the new year.
In 1582, Pope Gregory XIII ordered a new calendar (Gregorian Calendar) to replace the old Julian Calendar. The new calendar called for New Year’s Day to be celebrated Jan 1. That year, France, adopted the reformed calendar and shifted New Year’s day to Jan 1. According to a popular explanation, many people either refused to accept the new date, or did not learn about it, and continued to celebrate New Year’s day on April 1. Other people began to make fun of these traditionalists, sending them on “fools errands” or trying to trick them into believing something false. Eventually spread throughout Europe. It believed that the explanation given for the April fool day was half truth since England for instance didn’t adopt the Gregory Calendar until 1752 yet they were celebrating April fool’s day and also the historical evidence for this explanation. April Fool’s Day celebrated every April 1 where people are sent on a fool errands and if become a victim of a trick or boas you are called April Fool. Over the years many have died through such pranks that, they were pulled with expensive jokes. Joy FM has over the years been pulling pranks on their listeners, a year ago Joy FM carries away the news that, the host of the Cosmopolitan Mix show Doreen Andoh Queen of the airwaves after nineteen (19) years of dedicated service, the goddess of radio has existed the station and is heading towards a different field which most popular sites in the country including <a href="http://citifmonline.com">citifmonline.com </a>spread the news which all ended up to be lies and an April fool indeed.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiy-pbDojl-0KYr2zzA73lxn477OrETpf_QxzKBOu5j21U0JNVXLi_rGJ2zEFR1t7e4izSMBfgAq7HXIKUoDJFPxYMbVys1I7uV7cs9K2xkDdRcwRk5l2HU-M1zy3TRwMOllPiAjsKbqaKV/s1600/Doreen+Andoh.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiy-pbDojl-0KYr2zzA73lxn477OrETpf_QxzKBOu5j21U0JNVXLi_rGJ2zEFR1t7e4izSMBfgAq7HXIKUoDJFPxYMbVys1I7uV7cs9K2xkDdRcwRk5l2HU-M1zy3TRwMOllPiAjsKbqaKV/s640/Doreen+Andoh.jpg" /></a></div>
The sister station of Joy FM Adom106.3 FM which boast to be the best radio station in the country also in last three years pulled a prank that their star comedian Efo Gh (the Ewe man who has been cracking jobs with Jerry Justice on Offiekwanso) would be marrying on the 1 day of April and so therefore vehicles would be place at certain vantage points for the lovers of Efo Gh and Adom FM to help make the event a grand one. Somewhere last year when Mr. Blessed Godsbrain Smart known well as Captain Smart left Fox FM in Kumasi and joined the Accra based radio station Adom FM, when it got to the April fool day, Adom FM alarmed that the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) has taken custody of Captain Smart for wrong allegations which almost made his mum go mad which she rushed all the way from Central Region to know the where about of her only child Blessed Godsbrain Smart turning out to all be in the name of April Fool. There have been survival attempts to quit the celebration of Fool day’s considering the illegality, April fool is a day of sending people on fool errands but not create tension panic and fear. What come may it is really fun to enjoy but whenever you fall a victim remember you are called an April Fool. Let celebrate such a wonderful but shocking day. Stay alert not to be an April Fool on the Fool’s day.

Ace TV Presenter Nana Aba Anamoah has exist the Kanda TV station TV3 weeks after theTwitter brouhaha.
Nana Aba Anamoah the former host of the most watched show DIVA’s show was sent off air by her employers TV3 weeks ago after a prank which got everybody talking about her and calling her names.
Mr. Augustus Dickson the Chief Executive Officer of TV3 network released a statement and this what he said “After preliminary investigations internally, and in accordance with TV3’s own commitment to the highest level of professionalism, Management has decided to take Nana Aba Anamoah off air until further notice.”
Nana Aba Anamoah trended on twitter for at least two consecutive days but for the wrong reason. She received an avalanche of backlash for twitting an image that wasn't hers.
People photoshopped her image and made fun of her on social media for her tweet.
She later tweeted and apologised for her conduct: “My intention was not to steal someone’s pictures as mine. Absolutely not.”
She followed with another: “Sorry to all who got offended by that joke. It was all meant to be an innocent prank.”
Though apologetic, her employer thought her conduct could not go unpunished and suspended her.
“As a broadcast network that prides itself in upholding high ethical standards and delivering credible and trustworthy content to its viewers, TV3 would like to assure viewers and other key stakeholders that it shall continue to take all necessary steps to maintain such standards,” the statement noted.
“We expect guardians of our brand particularly employees who we entrust to deliver content on air to our viewers, to ascribe to the company’s values whatever they are.”
After making an audacious move to Old Trafford and sharing pictures and videos from the stadium ostensibly to prove that she is capable paying for a ticket to watch a Manchester United match, the controversial show host returned to Ghana with thing in mind, to move on.
She tendered in her resignation letter in the morning of Monday, November 2, 2015.
She told a source she had been wanting to resign from the network for two years now but each time she makes the move, she is talked out of it.
Last year, after making part-payment for her fees in preparation to go to school, she abandoned the plans after management of the station appealed to her to defer her plans.
After the twitter row and subsequent suspension, she thought it is time to finally move on.
Nana Aba Anamoah will be moving to another TV but not TV3 or Viasat 1 per my intelligent investigation due to some comment she made against Viasat 1 a year ago..

It is there all eyes on the ballots boxes waiting till 5:00 PM for counting. Hope you casted your vote? You heard me right that was all the imaginations of Bernard Ralph Adams.
On 7th November, 2016 all the propagandas and ‘politricks’ the political parties in Ghana are doing will take a new form. Elections in Ghana cannot be complete without citing the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) as the main factors in elections in Ghana. With this I write up my piece concerning election 2016 and the possible victor.
A man without a past is nobody so the saying goes 2016 elections will be a history in a making despite certain pressure groups mountain pressure on the Electoral Commission to change the voter register and inter party conflicts. The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has a dream of winning 1,000,000 votes in the Ashanti Region described as the “world bank” of the New Patriotic Party. Pollsters in and outside Ghana has in one or two ways predicts the outcomes of elections in Ghana which came to pass.
In the year 1992 saw five people contesting for the presidential elections and after the election here were the verdict Jerry John Rawlings of National Democratic Congress 2,323,135 representing 58.4% Albert Adu Boahen of New Patriotic Party 1,204,764 representing 30.3% Hilla Limann of People’s National Convention 266,710 reoresenting 6.7%, Kwabena Darko of National Independence Party 113,629 representing 2.9%, Emmanuel Erskine of People Heritage Party 69,827 representing 1.8%. J.J Rawlings was declared the winner.
In 1996 three political parties contested including the likes of National Democratic Congress (NDC), New Patriotic Party (NPP) and People’s Convention (PNC) Jerry John Rawlings of NDC had 4,099,758 representing 57.4% John Kuffour of NPP had 2,834,878 representing 39.7%, Edward Mahama 211,136 representing 3.0%. Jerry John Rawlings won for the 2nd time. In the year 2000 the then president Jerry John Rawlings brought his term of office to an end. And elections were held and this were the results John Kuffour of New Patriotic Party had 3,131,739 representing 48% John Mills of National Democratic Congress 2,895,575 representing 44.54%, Edward Mahama People’s National Convention had 189,659 representing 2.92%, George Hagan Convention’s People Party had 115,641 representing 1.78%, Augustus Obuabum Tanoh National Reform Party 78,620 representing 1.21% , Dan Lantey of Great Consolidated Popular Party 67,504 representing 1.04% Charles Wereko Brobby United Ghana Movement had 22,123 representing 0.34%. But since per the 1992 Constitution of the Republic a candidate need to get 50 + 1 vote, no candidate won so a second run of election (Run-off) was held between New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC) and these were the results of the run-off NPP 3,631.263 representing 56.90% and NDC 2,750,124 representing 43.10%. NPP led be John Kuffour was declared victor

National Democratic Congress has reached the usually eight years as elections in Ghana has always been, New Patriotic Party is working behinds doors to win power. The ultimate question is will NDC lose power to NPP or retain power? From the statics above there is no doubt that presidential election in Ghana 2016 will be a run-off, if history always repeat itself.

It is about a month ago a die hard Manchesster United fun and suspended TV3 presebter and News anchor who was the face behind DIVA's show has finally made it to the Old Trafford. Nana Aba Anamoah was weeks ago headlined almost in all the media houses top stories over a prank She pulled her fans on Twitter saying She was was at the Old Trafford sport stadium watching a live match.
In about two days the story hit the media a guy came out accusing Nana Aba Anamoah of stealing his picture. The employers of the star presenter TV3 Network released a statement addressing what Nana Aba did as unprofessional and sent her off- air due to the prank She pulled.

Ermm! Have you ever thought how Ghana could be if we don’t pay taxes¬? It may be good enough as a good citizen to think about such things.
In every village, town, city and the country as a whole. There are certain institutions which helps in the day to day running of the country in the moral up-bring which the church is part.
The purpose of this article is not to bash any church or religion. I firmly believe the taxation of churches is not a negative concept; take notice taxing churches and taxing charitable organization is not the same. I have carefully studied the taxation of churches whether Charismatic, Orthodox, the Pentecostal churches and the one –man churches and strongly believed the taxation.
I have arranged it in order of merit. <div><br></div><div> Firstly, the reason for church tax-exemption is obsolete. Historically, the primary reason churches don’t pay taxes no longer applies thus, they have been interpreted from a legal stand point to non – profitable as a business enterprise. Tax exemption was first recorded by Roman Empire and was granted by Emperor Constantine. At that point religion was used primarily as a method of ensuring order in the society. Education standards were much lower and for the common slave to understand the concept of human rights as a valid enough reason not to murder his master.</div><div><br></div><div>Secondly, churches don’t exist primarily to provide for citizen but government. As many believers may agree with me that, it is not the duty of the church to construct roads, build hospitals, schools, provide security for the state but government. What more even if the offices of government pay taxes without any exempt then with this conviction churches must also be taxed.</div><div><br></div><div> Besides, churches been tax exempted put burden on us indirectly. It is preposterous to argue on this very point. Let take this for instance, Mrs. Hilton a business woman told her three daughters Florence, Pearl and Kezia to wash her dirty clothes and iron them. Immediately Mrs. Hilton step feet out of the house. Kezia the youngest daughter of Mrs. Hilton pretended to be sick dying in the next minute. Making Florence the oldest daughter and Pearl washed the clothes and ironed all by themselves. Kezia’s excuse didn’t prevent Florence and Pearl from washing the clothes but because Kezia didn’t partake in the washing of the clothes. Florence and Pearl worked more than they were supposed to , creating a link as churches been tax exempted the burden is been scheduled on us indirectly as Kezia’s siblings did for her.<div><br></div><div> Adding insult to injury, churches are not purely Non-profitable organization. Initially churches were preaching and propagating the gospel of Christ as John the Baptist and Apostle Paul did centuries ago without earning salaries or any monetary gains, but the 21st century churches have migrated from Non-profitable organization to business entities where some pastors go as far as selling anointing oil for Ghs200 paying of consultation fees etc. Creating an atmosphere for them to be taxed. </div><div><br></div><div>Again, churches serve as revenue for founders. Most Charismatic, Pentecostal and so-called one man churches which are privileged to have branches overseas let me say a church in Sierra Leone have a branch in Ghana . Practice a system where all the monetary gains in the overseas are sent to the country of the founding leader’s country like the church in Ghana will send all the monies gain to the headquarters which is in Sierra Leone for development and other necessary activities. Serving as a medium of revenue for the General overseer and the country which the pastor resides and also causing lost to the church oversee and it country.</div><div><br></div><div> Lastly, indiscipline on the part of the churches, it's really common among the churches in Africa that often they refer to governments as unbelievers and henceforth devilish (evil manners) all because they want the government to act per do as I say whiles the government going wayward. Many would believe with me that the government has been providing security, and a whole lot. If the churches are taxed on the basic facts I gave in my piece as the reason for tax exemption is obsolete, churches don’t exist primarily to provide for citizens but government, churches been tax exempted put burden on us indirectly, churches are not purely Non-profitable organization, churches serve as revenue for founders, indiscipline on the part of the churches and other reasons pages couldn’t permit me to write I believe strongly without any second thoughts churches shouldn't be taxed exempted!!<div><br></div><div>
<i>Churches are just giving what belongs to Caesar to Caesar per the holy scriptures</i>

A life without a challenge would be somewhat: so as a race without a winner would be awkward.
The Ghanaian music industry has over the years seen the performance of talented and super fantastic singers of which some are still ruining and others out of the system. In the gospel industry great like Esther Smith, Bishop Michael Osei Bonsu, Cindy Thompson, Amy Newman, Daughters of glorious Jesus, Tagoe Sisters, No Tribe, and a host of others Hip-life and Highlife artistes of fame include Slim Buster, Nana Ampadu, Obrafour, Samini, Guru, Amakye Dede, Paa Bobo, Daddy Lumba, Sarkodie, Tinny, etc It is quiet funny almost all the above listed musicians once ruled as king or queen of the Ghana Music Industry. Of late it been like the gospel musicians have been over shadowed by the great musician I call them the triple S kings.

Michael Owusu Addo known publicly as Sarkodie, a Ghanaian hip -pop, hip-life and Azonto recording artiste. BET best International Act award winner 2012. The fastest rapper in Ghana. This man needs no further introduction since his fame is everywhere. He is well known for albums like Sarkology, Mary Mary. His style of music presentation is a mixture of facts and comedy. The second on top of the list rocking after Sarkodie is no one else than Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr a reggae- dancehall musician, known on stage as Shatta Wale formerly Bandana. He won the Artiste of the year 2014 edition of the Ghana Music Awards. Shatta Wale best known as dancehall king. A very controversial artist founder and president of Shatta Movement and SM4Lyf. His songs are very difficult to hear what he means. He combines English, Twi with the Patwah languages in his music His song “Dancehall king “ there was a verse which goes “dancehall king in the whole Ghana” due to how fast he sings people were singing it as Dancehall king Hanna Montana” instead of the words ‘Dancehall king in the whole Ghana’. He is really talented for the fact that ‘dissing’ a collegue musician in his music is not a problem.

The circles of life is always a lesson one has to learn and if you learn it well you can flow without any limitations.
The natural disasters which happened in the capital city on 3rd June which brought everyone mourning and frustrated was a lesson I have learnt much and I am going to share with you in the lines below. The sudden drum which got Kwaku Ananse into trouble got some people into trouble on the 3rd June 2015 (Wednesday) on the fore court of the Accra community. Many intellectuals have read meaning into it no matter their political views they spoke fairly.
The ultimate lesson i learnt is, all hope is not lost as far as we are alive. On the morning Thursday 4th June, 2015 almost all the Television stations and channels were showing visuals of the vivid thing which took place. The radio stations conducted interviews on interviews to find out the happenings regarding the natural disasters. Later, the president of the Republic His Excellency John Mahama declared a three days mourning in the whole country. Reader! Hope you have at least watched or seen in pictures how the twin disaster spoiled properties and how lives were lost? Have you thought it could be you? But thanks to Jah, what are we doing to help this unprofessional ‘silly’ things happening to our dear nation? My question goes to the privileged that are living. Did we just mourned or we are putting measures in place for the unknown future?
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhdsGVBW-htoOWn58js8K6TekUwJFl_HbkC3d_g5zhVZZqzJ-96uCwv5ExxmWz6xWzJAMPX3Why3sJW1W1gChfUkc2O6aI_kWrqynn3aeTzNtjkuaf2UPodoyuOzIfwyBEsJ72ckCuJiOB/s1600/floods.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhdsGVBW-htoOWn58js8K6TekUwJFl_HbkC3d_g5zhVZZqzJ-96uCwv5ExxmWz6xWzJAMPX3Why3sJW1W1gChfUkc2O6aI_kWrqynn3aeTzNtjkuaf2UPodoyuOzIfwyBEsJ72ckCuJiOB/s400/floods.jpg" /></a></div>
Besides, the flood and fire out-break was a sign of the end of days. It always pours but never rains as the saying goes. Do you think poor settlement only caused the floods? Yes it is! But remember in the Biblical days when it rained forty (40) days and forty (40) nights. Noah and all those who were in the ark survived due to obedience. Those who were killed by the floods and those by the fire out-break, those who died by the fire suffered most, creating a thin link about what is written in the book of life. So it may be that is sign of warning telling the world to wake up.
Furthermore, I learnt money can’t buy life. Haven watched a man who got burnt to dead in his luxurious car with his seat belt and a filling station built with a huge sum of money. What I asked myself was, where are we going? Those people who died were people from all sorts of environs including Bankers, Teachers, Drivers, Electricians, Street Venders keep mentioning. That, with all the monies they have could not save them.

The day has finally come where holidays are ruining the country financially down. Oh my oh my ! I know you are asking why? But I will answer that in my up coming piece if time will be on my side.
" my journalism is hinged on three basic principles naming ,shaming and jailing" these are words from Anas Aremeyaw Anas ace undercover investigative journalist.
What am I driving to ? All what I want to say is . There a lot of bad and corrupt persons around us, and they need to be put behind bars regardless of their positions in the country. You cannot just say, a person is corrupt and he would be caught and be prisoned. You need an evidence a hard core evidence, meaning doing immersion journalism working undercover , been vigilant and focusing on your goals.
It's hard though but rome was not built in a day as the saying goes. Reporting criminals, avoid taking and giving out bribes, avoiding create loot and share and the likes keep mentioning are all ways we can do to prevent those bad and corrupt guys from our society and Ghana at large. Wear the masks as the title of this piece doesn't mean we should wear masks to unveil corruption in our dear nation if that be it, we will all turn arabians but working secretly behind doors knowing what you are up to and getting the results and affecting your society positively with it. When you wear masks no one get to see your face.
If the bad guys has broken the bridges let we the good guys build a strong one, and one day Ghana
would be a corruption free country. Remember the principals in the game naming, shaming, and jailing.
Long live Ghana!
Long live true patriot!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13233281472193489675noreply@blogger.com
